Pattaya, Thailand – The independent international and domestic multi-award-winning short documentary film, “Justice for George Floyd: The Tipping Point?” returns to Thailand for the Southeast Asia International Film in Pattaya.
The documentary short film explores the use of imagery and narrative on social media during the Justice for George Floyd Protests and offers activities strategies for future social movements rooted in social justice, social change, and equity for people of color.
The SEAIFF management team is led by award-winning Hollywood Producer & Director Matt Dearborn of USA, the program director. A three-time Emmy nominee and BAFTA award winner, Mr. Dearborn has worked with all the major studios in Hollywood, and his new series, Xs and Os, will debut on Netflix. Completing the staff are Marshall Lawhon, assistant to Mr. Dearborn, and SEAIFF Program Coordinator Tim Lies, who specializes in music videos and horror filmmaking and acting.
